Data Deletion Instructions — CSPB Messenger Chatbot

Effective date: April 27, 2026

If you have interacted with the CSPB Messenger chatbot ("the Service") and would like the data we have collected about you to be deleted, you may request deletion at any time. This page explains how.

What Data Is Collected

When you message the CSPB Obando Facebook Page through Messenger, we receive your Facebook-Scoped User ID (PSID) and the content of your messages. This data is processed by our automated chatbot system in order to generate and send replies. Some message content is retained in processing logs for up to 30 days for debugging and quality assurance, after which it is automatically deleted. See our full Privacy Policy for details.

How to Request Deletion

To request deletion of your data ahead of the automatic 30-day retention period, please email us at:

Use the subject line:

Chatbot Data Deletion Request

In the body of your email, include:

1. The Facebook profile name you used when interacting with the chatbot.
2. The approximate date(s) of your interactions, if known.
3. Your confirmation that you are requesting deletion of all data the CSPB chatbot has collected about you.

What Happens Next

Within 30 days of receiving your request, we will:

1. Locate any logs or processing records associated with your Facebook-Scoped User ID.
2. Permanently delete those records from our systems.
3. Confirm the deletion via reply to your email and/or via Messenger.

Please note that deleting your data from our systems does not delete the messages from your own Facebook Messenger conversation history. To clear your Messenger history, use the Facebook Messenger app's built-in conversation deletion feature.

Alternative: Block the Page

If you simply wish to stop all future interactions with the chatbot without going through a formal deletion process, you can also:

• Block the CSPB Obando Page from Messenger. This prevents the chatbot from sending you any further messages and stops it from receiving any future messages from you.
